About Us
In December of 1999 Sarah McDavid and her husband Allen McDavid created South Elm Place with the intention of
bringing to Greensboro a shop with a distinctive New Orleans’ vibe. Over time the store has grown, evolved, and
established a reputation as an excellent source of metaphysical products, beads, unique jewelry, candles, handcrafted
art, herbs, soaps & lotions - and a damn cool place to just hang out. In the spring of 2006 the name South Elm Place was
changed to Terra Blue to better reflect the store's focus.
